This Privacy Policy applies to the handling of personal information by Sigo (Hong Kong) Trading Co.,Ltd, together with our subsidiaries, and related companies ("we","us","our"or "Sigocontacts"). We understand the importance of protecting an individual's personal information. This Privacy Policy sets out how we aim to protect your personal information, your rights in relation to your personal information held by us and how we collect, hold, use, disclose, and otherwise manage, your personal information when we provide you with our products and services, and when you access our websites, applications (if any) and social media accounts, email, text message, online ad or other sales and marketing channel under our control.


We will regularly review our policies and procedures regarding personal information and may therefore update and amend Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated Privacy Policy will be made available on the our website, or can otherwise be obtained by contacting us and requesting a copy.

Categories of Personal Information Collected

Personal information (including Personal Identifying Information (PII) or Personal Health Information (PHI)), is information or an opinion about an identified, or reasonably identifiable, individual. The kinds of personal information that we collect will vary depending on our particular interaction or dealing with you. However, generally speaking, the kinds of personal information we collect may include:

(l) your device identifiers such as Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and Google Advertising ID (ADID);

(m) your device information such as device type, OS (Operating System) name and version, screen resolution, platform type, device manufacturer and model, language settings, browser type and version, software name and version.


We may also hold other kinds of personal information as permitted or required by law or other kinds of personal information that we notify you of at or about the time of collection. Generally, we do not collect sensitive information about individuals. Information about your health, racial or ethnic origin, political persuasions, criminal record and religious or philosophical beliefs are all examples of sensitive information. Generally speaking, we collect, hold, use or disclose personal information so that we can maintain, improve and provide you with our products and services. Examples of the purposes for which we collect, hold, use and disclose your personal information include to:

(a) fulfill your order(s) for prescription or non-prescription eyeglasses, and facilitate delivery of your purchases;

(b) update you on the progress of your order(s) and send re-stock reminders, process automatic re-orders or handle returns, etc.;

(c) contact you regarding your account, including marketing, and facilitate advertisement attribution as part of our marketing campaigns;

(d) determine your approximate location;

(e) monitor the integrity of our services and products to ensure such provision is secure and lawful;

However, without certain information from you, we may not be able to provide services or products to you or may be limited in how we can interact with you.

We disclose your personal information for the purpose for which we collect it. As a result, generally, we may disclose your personal information for a purpose set out above of this Privacy Policy, to the following persons (whether in your region or overseas). This may include disclosing your personal information to:

(a) related companies of Sigocontacts including but not limited to holding companies or affiliated companies located in your region or overseas;

(f) any other party to whom you authorize us to disclose your personal data to.


We may also disclose your personal information for other purposes if we notify you of the disclosure at or about the time of collecting the information, we have otherwise received your consent or the disclosure is required or authorized by law. Security of Personal Information

We take steps reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that the personal information it holds is protected from misuse, interference and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.


We hold personal information in electronic forms in secure databases on secure premises, accessible only with the appropriate passwords by authorized staff, contractors or agents on a "need to know" basis and is disclosed or shared using secured methods (personal information is encrypted when necessary). Where personal information is held in hard copy, it will be held in controlled, access restricted premises which only authorized personnel or contractors will be permitted to access. The processes and systems we use to secure your personal information include:

We also have in place internal procedures to confirm general company compliance with this Privacy Policy. We will destroy or de-identify personal information in circumstances where it is no longer required, unless we are otherwise required or authorized by law to retain the information.

Right to Access and Control Personal Information

We take steps reasonable in the circumstances to ensure any personal information it holds is accurate, up-to-date, complete, relevant and not misleading. In addition, under applicable privacy protection laws, including the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), and US State Privacy laws, including the CCPA, you have a right to control and manage your personal information that is collected and held by us. Overseas Disclosure

We may transfer your personal information to countries/territories outside your region where any of our related companies or service providers may be located. This includes, but is not limited to, the People's Republic of China and Singapore. To the extent that we may need to transfer your personal information overseas, we will protect the personal information so transferred and ensure that we provide a standard of protection that is comparable to the protection under applicable privacy protection laws. Children's Privacy

We do not request or collect personal information from anyone who is deemed as CHILD under the laws of your region/country with prior verifiable parental consent. If you are deemed as CHILD under the laws of your region/country, please do not attempt to fill out any forms on the Site or send us any personal information. If your CHILD has submitted personal information to the Sigocontacts website without consent, please contact our LiveChat.
