Step 2: Prepare your eyes by blinking to produce tears and keep your eyes moist. Look upward and use the middle finger of one hand to gently pull down your lower eyelid.

Step 3: Move the lens. Slowly bring your index finger close to your eye and gently touch the lower edge of the lens, sliding it to the white part of your eye. This ensures the lens does not stick to the cornea, reducing the risk of damage.

Note: Avoid pinching the lens directly from the cornea as it may cause epithelial damage, especially if the lens is dry and stuck.

Step 4: Remove the lens. Use your thumb and index finger to gently pinch the edges of the lens and squeeze it towards the center to remove it.

How to Wear Contact Lenses

Step 2: Remove the lens and identify the correct side. Place the contact lens on your fingertip or a lens applicator. The correct side will form a round U-shape, while the incorrect side will form a pointed V-shape.

Step 3: Use a finger from your other hand to lift your upper eyelid to avoid blinking or interference from eyelashes, and gently pull down your lower eyelid with another finger to fully expose the cornea.

Step 4: Gently bring the lens on your index finger or applicator close to your eye and softly press the lens onto the cornea (try to avoid blinking).

Step 5: After placing the lens, release your upper and lower eyelids, and blink a few times to allow the lens to naturally fit onto your eye. Alternatively, close your eyes briefly, then open them once the lens is completely settled.
